I second Andy, Round 2 would be great as from August everything should be all good with my family that money shouldn't be a issue in advance.

In the middle would be nice like Manchester or we do do Scotland and maybe for peeps like me or Drunka have a week up there.

I've heard Wakefield is lovely at that time of year

What I'd like to suggest is that we get some sort of rotation of locations set up, so one in Scotland before one in southern England, maybe. If that's what we go for then we'll have to accept that not all of us will make it to all of the meetups.

Also a must: a four-way plug socket extender.

That sounds a better plan Zero.

I'd do a Scotland one without bother - Glasgow or Edinburgh would be a piece of piss for a few folk here.

South of England would need a bit more thought, as I'm up in the North East of Scotland, and it would mean about nine billion light years of travel.

Tbh I think somewhere in the middle rather than a rotation would be best so we don't end of with 2 or more separate meet ups.

I'm cool with going anywhere really,  would definitely be best to go somewhere everyone can get to though. In terms of when I must mention I'm away for the first 2 weeks of August and the first week of September.

Yeah, I thought that was the point of the Mario Kart session. I think I rattled through a good few beers because of how shite Drunka and myself were at Mario Kart.

In those four races of Mario Kart, I almost polished off a bottle of wine.

I specifically opted out because I knew I was at the limit where, if I mixed my drinks any further, I'd teeter over from "happy tipsy" to "getting rid of that tomorrow by any means possible drunk". I still have the bottle of Bucks Fizz (not Buckfast) I bought!

I left four cans of Red Stripe for the cleaners to have.

Aye I kept it reigned in as well as I didn't want to travel with a hangover or miss my train entirely. (Though I still did have a headache)

I think that I was basically fine after breakfast. Bit sleepy maybe. I did need that breakfast though.

I was better than I thought I was going to be - I didn't sleep too well or for too long, but I was surprisingly decent the next day.

I'm a pro at this sort of thing so I was all good despite going nearly a week before I got a proper night's sleep

Huge amounts of sleep helped me out.

Sleeping in till near 10 definitely did me some favours.
