I was tempted to post this in the Scorpions chat, but I think this fits Pincer movement better.

Boss from FFIX:

I'll have to think of a few more over the coming week.

I've been treated to more than my fair share of giant enemy crabs recently; there are the big, creepy fellas in the Osaka aquarium, the massive moving models on the fronts of seafood restaraunts and plenty just scuttling by the shore.

Games-wise, I'm disappointed neither of the James' posted Monster Hunter's offerings. The idea of a big hermit crab wearing another, larger monster's skull as a shell is very cool.
Daimyo Hermitaur:

Shogun Ceanataur:

Shen Gaoren:

Nor me, sadly - I enjoyed the crabby chaps from MHS. His last one does remind me of the things from Arrival, though (or indeed Squoods from XC2).

Thumbs Up! to Mas for featuring an actual crab!
