Yep, count me in. Splatoon is one of the select few games on Wii U I regret not being able to play, so I'm all aboard day one for Splatoon 2.

And it's out in the summer? At this rate, I might only be playing the Switch for the rest of the year!

Has anyone mentioned the ink jetpack? I don't think so. I'm mentioning the ink jetpack.

Not to mention the new weapon which has the awesome fresh name of splat duellies.

The most exciting for me was seeing single player gimmicks like the travel pipes in the multiplayer maps, something I asked for back when Splat1 released.

Aye, that was cool hopefully the maps go all out with it.

I think one of the key things for me is to play online but with the Switch screen. Hogging the TV for online play was always a problem - can't pause when you're online and all that, so being able to "win" at Splatoon any time is a + + +.

Hoping we'll get more players for more regular sessions this time. Splatoon with a full team who know eachother and are communicating is a thing to behold.

Ive been meaning to ask whos up for a wee return to the original?

This sounds like a dumb psychological problem only I'd have, but I don't want to be Splatooned out before the sequel (I'm also not touching Mario Kart!). Mind you, I appreciate I wasn't a regular when you guys did it last time...

I'll be all about that noise. The multiplayer bug has bitten me, so well keen for another multiplayer hit to dive into.

I wasn't thinking of going crazy and playing it right up until the sequel hits probably just a few games here & there - I played some games solo earlier and i had so much fun. I then checked the activity log and my last time playing it was in January 2016 but aye I can see what you mean.

So at the end of January I'm going to pick up my ol Wii U and bring it back to Notts. It's getting traded in towards the Switcheroonie, but I'll be up for a couple of Splats in the before Switch times.

I AM VERY EXCITED BY THIS PROSPECT, FRIENDS.

I didn't realise Nintendo ran their betas in a such a weird way - I'd imagined it was going to be open for the whole weekend rather than hour timeslots, but I can respect the decision. I've found myself no longer wanting to buy a full release after getting my fill on a multiplayer beta, whereas I imagine this will only get me hungrier for more splatting action.

We'll definitely have to get a GNamer gang together for this... presuming there's a lobby system in the Testfire, of course.
