I'm still not buying games in Jan, not keen on many anyway, and as it's my birthday the two I am keen on Pokémon Legends and Uncharted (I know I could just pay the upgrade, but I want in the collection) I'll ask for my birthday.

I know it's not listed on XBN but Windjammers 2 is coming to Xbox Game Pass, so will try that and anything else coming to the service in Jan.

Maybe I'll try a month of Ubisoft+ on Stadia for Rainbow Six Extraction, as well in Jan.

Ohh I will get a DualSense likely the blue one but seems there is a double pack, then again purple one will come out at some point. I’m not overly keen on any of the face plates, just in case you're wondering.

Pokémon is pre ordered, natch x3. Like Mas I might get the Uncharted collection out of sheer desire for a game box with a white border alone but if not I'll be doing the upgrade as I've never played Lost Legacy anyway so that'll be something new. Windjammers is mighty tempting even though I could see myself getting quickly frustrated because everyone is better than me.

I definitely had my moments of swearing during the beta but matches are so short that the frustration never lasts unless the queue gives you the same player again.

I happen to have Golden Abyss on VITA, 1-3 on PS3, Collection (1-3 Remastered)-4-Lost on PS4 that I've got the previous remasters and all 7 physical games, so it makes sense to have this one as well.

I do also have Death Stranding DC, and would like Ghosts as works out about the same price buying on PS5 as buying PS4 + DLC, that I'll have some weird PS5 remaster collection at least from PlayStation Studios (Nioh has one as well, just thought of it).

Guess FFVIIRI would be a big one to get, but a few 3rd party games like Jumanji now have a PS5 Physical remaster, that a lot of them.

Preaching to the choir here Mas, I'm someone who bought the Marvel Avengers game for PS5 even though I don't really care for it just so it could sit nicely next to my two other Marvel PS5 games on the shelf.

Ahh yes the Marvel collection, hope to see Marvel's Midnight Suns in it come April.

Then you buy Gotham Knights, and it becomes the Superhero collection.

I guess that means that by paying for Gamepass you're giving Ubisoft money, but ultimately gamepass is a ridiculuous black hole that microsoft throw money into because the whole xbox venture isn't actually about profit it's just about us associating the word microsoft with gaming so their stock goes up and people don't pay attention to things like all their military contracts and their enormous carbon-pumping server farms.

Yeah there is that but I've got Game Pass till March, I don't know what's going to be on it and how M$ will use my £11 (Found a deal for 4 months) to invest in new deals with companies.

On Ubisoft, with Plus coming to Xbox at least, I may try it still for Splinter Cell for instance, sure it be giving Ubisoft £13 but better than £60 and all this money trickles back to the likes of Tencent (Even Nintendo deals with them) or someone in the end anyway.

Guess also giving M$ less money and not going out buying Halo Infinite, but I'm very much in the ecosystem (It is what I'll consider my number 3 system now, yet be the one I play the most), and guessing doing their job for them going hey Xbox is great just pay £11 a month, and you can play Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, Artful Escape and Rainbow Six it's great.

I'm not genuinely suggesting you should avoid gamepass - even I have limits, and there's always a little bit of no ethical consumption under capitalism to take into account.

I think there are companies with very obvious and adjustable flaws, and I think supporting them is egregious, but if you try to avoid every product that might send money to the wrong place, you're living in the woods and wiping your ass with leaves.

Which, to be fair, I do consider more and more every year.

I'm the same re. Gamepass for what it's worth.  If there was an UbiSoft-only version I'd be thoroughly against it, but otherwise that level of separation puts it from 'supporting a company run by rape-enablers' to 'supporting a bunch of companies and the rape-enablers are sadly among their number' in my myopic eyes.

The Ubisoft only version does exist at the moment on PC, Luna and Stadia with it coming Xbox. I've said in the past I like an odd few of Ubisoft games and linked stuff from various people, of hey it's not everyone at the company who's a tool, still I don't really want to give £60 to them for X game, that sure still supporting them if I take up Ubiosft+ but I can give them the £14 play X game then cancel.

January 25th, The Artful Escape comes to PlayStation and Switch, it was in my general Top 5 games of the year on Pod of War and rather high on my Nontendo Top 5 here.

No idea of cost as I played via Game Pass but get on it if you can.

Artful Escape was fine for free, I can't imagine feeling satisfied if I'd have paid for it.

Well there you go a utter 9/10 banger from me and can't imagine if satisfied if paid for it from Andy.
