According to a member of the HUKD site, GAME are giving you a free NES/GB/GBC eShop download if you buy any 3DS chart game. Just a small selection of retro games, all of which are here: http://www.game.co.uk/en/games/nintendo-eshop/retro-classics/?attributeName1=Shop%20By&sortColumn=popular&sortTypeStr=DESC&inStockOnly=false&listerOnly=true&provenance=Download&attributeValue1=107&cm_sp=cateshop-_-button-_-RetroClassics

Might be an idea to get Pokémon from GAME?

Sainsbury's appear to have reduced the prices of even more of their games: spotted last night were New Art Academy, MGS Snake Eater 3D and Mario Tennis Open for just £9.99 each and Professor Layton And The Miracle Mask for £14.99.

From tomorrow, Argos are selling the 2DS + Lego LOTR + Moshi Monsters: Katsuma Unleashed for £99.

Those two games might not be the best, but they have a £21 trade in value at CeX, meaning the 2DS is effectively £78.

Tempting. Is it a temporary sale or does it look like a permanent reduction?

Starfox 3D is Amazon's current Lightening Deal at just £9.99 new. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Star-Fox-64-Nintendo-3DS/dp/B004JHY420/ref=gb1h_img_cin_1267_e23fa888?ie=UTF8&qid=1385729561&sr=8-1&keywords=B004JHY420&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_s=center-sign-in&pf_rd_r=020YJ5GQ2625F75R66DN&pf_rd_i=11056131&pf_rd_p=449641267

Scandalously cheap: it's the 2DS with Pokémon Y for just £99.99 in/on Sainsbury's!

An outstanding deal from Amazon: get three selected 3DS games new for £20. Have a look. They're good ones, and I don't doubt that everyone reading will want to get amongst it:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000770403&tag=ho01f-21

(I've just ordered Castlevania, Tekken 3D and RE Revelations!)

EDIT: That is a huge letdown that Amazon ended that offer prematurely. It really was one of the best I've ever posted - get three games from a choice of Castlevania, Rhythm Thief, Starfox 3D and Heroes of Ruin (amongst others) for only £20. Yeah, they're a bit older, but I saved over £37 on Amazon's usual prices on the games I bought. I can only hope others reading got involved.

Aw man, gutted I missed that. I would have definitely snapped up Starfox, Rhythm Thief and one of the others (maybe Revelations). Next time...

I would have partook in that if it weren't for the fact that I already owned about 80% of what was on offer, but it was a stonking offer.

I was lucky in that I had been waiting for Castlevania and Tekken to drop to around a tenner apiece. I'd held off on both for ages. That I could get them brand new - and with Revelations chucked in - for that price was just swell.

~

Should anyone reading be in the market for a 3DS, Amazon are doing three-game bundles alongside the older consoles. Available in a few colours with all sorts of different games for £129.99

Amazon's 3 for £20 deal is back, but it's not as good. The choice is now only out of Street Fighter 4, Tekken, Dead or Alive, Resident Evil: Mercenaries, Art Academy and Steel Diver.

Ah! The stuff nobody would have bought! Gives us hope that they'll maybe revamp this offer again in the future.

Were I just getting my 3DS if wouldn't shake my head at Tekken 3D, SSFIV3D and DoA Dimensions new for twenty quid, mind.

Looks like Zavvi are having a bit of a sale, with many older 3DS games down to under a fiver. Tekken 3D for £4.99 is a steal:

http://www.zavvi.com/games-3ds/tekken-3d-prime-edition/10481358.html?vwo_ppr=a

There's also a few DS games. I'm sure they'll be takers for Inazuma Eleven 2 at £4.99 as well:

2DS + Lego Lord Of The Rings from Argos - £89.99

(You can also trade in LOTR at CeX for another £10 off, meaning the price is effectively £79.99!)

HMV are currently having a 'Yellow Sticker' sale, which whacks 50% off of the cost of games with a - yes! - yellow sticker on the front. There was quite a lot of 3DS and DS games in my local store, such as Bit.Trip Saga for £3.99, Sonic Colours for £6.49, a whole bunch of Lego 3DS games for £6.99, FIFA 13 for £7.99 and Mario Tennis Open for £12.49. It looked like the best stuff was already gone, but might be worth a gander if you're near an HMV all the same.

Did anyone nab Animal Crossing, Mario & Luigi or Donkey Kong whilst they were eight quid for half an hour on the Nintendo store the other day? I got Dream Team Bros., but am still waiting for the download code to come through...
