I mean, I probably won't like it as much as Hyrule, and certainly not as much as a proper Dynasty, but it'll be okay.

I thought it was a proper Fire Emblem game at first and got really excited. Laughing

I'm still really excited for Fire Emblem Warriors. Hyrule Warriors was a brilliant mesh of Warriors and Zelda, and I think Fire Emblem will likely mesh even better with Warriors. I wonder if they'll implement perma-death in some capacity? I mean, it's arguably what Fire Emblem is famous for, after all.

I'm reckoning there was a lot of sadness when it became clear what the game actually was. Laughing Not all that surprising though, not with FE Mobile yet to come.

Not for me, this, but I reckon it'll be good for those who like that sort of thing. Got the cast of thousands sorted already! Wonder if they'll include permadeath... Twisted Evil

All I want is my boy Rolf from Radiant Dawn to turn up.

That's my issue though, we all have different favorite FE characters, I know DW can put in over 100 characters, but I'm just not sure they'll cover the bases I want (and fear it'll have a bit too much focus on Awakening).

I think it will be initially weighted towards Awakening and Fates, and rightly so considering how well they sold. But I think with the precedent set through the Hyrule Warriors Legends DLC packs where you had characters from Link's Awakening and whatnot turn up, I'm not concerned about more niche Fire Emblem characters showing their face, even if it does end up being through DLC.

I wouldn't be surprised if it followed more of the Dynasty Warriors Empires format, and did feature permadeath and a ridonkulous cast

The cast'll be big but nowhere near warriors big - just think about how many games and expansions that series has had now!

I think you could be right about the permadeath though, Warriors 8 featured alternate story paths based on what actions were performed in battle and who survived. I'd like to see that in this game as well

The more I think about it, the more I want characters from Path of Radian-t Dawn. Need some Laguz in my life... Just imagine swooping around the battlefield as Tibarn. Instead we're going to end up with Marth, Chrom and Lucina - all using Falcion Neutral

Well, they showed off Xander and Ryoma's swords in the trailer, so they'll be there at least...

Very interested to see what this has in store, loved Hyrule Warriors so as long as it's somewhere near the quality of that then we've got something I never even knew I wanted.

That's gone on the calendar. I'm hoping for a properly huge, deep dive into the FE world.

I reckon we'll get more info on Fire Emblem Warriors, some more DLC for Fates, some chat about the mobile game and a teaser for the next proper Fire Emblem game.

We did get most of that Jay along with now knowing this is also coming to NEW 3DS, I wonder if the learned from HWL and the Old 3DS / 2DS aren't up to the task.

But does add ammo to the naysayers on why get a Switch when Warriors is on New 3DS.

I'll be getting it on the Switch, natch. The snippet of footage they showed off looked lush.

If the gulf is anything like between Hyrule Warriors on Wii U and 3DS, there'll be no debate at all.

Also as this is a NEW 3DS only game, how many more of them is their on the wild then their will be Switches as you think the people who own a New 3DS and want Warriors will be the hardcore Nintendo gamer who will just buy a Switch .

If this has something cool on New 3DS that isn't on Switch and vice-versa, then maybe or some sort of link up then I could be tempted.

October 20th just 7 days before Mario for this also we're getting PS4 Pro and One X like options with the game whilst docked.

You can either play in the intended 1080p 30fps or 720p 60fps mode, I would like to have 60fps but I don't think I can from playing games in 1080p-2160p nearly all the time back down to 720p on a massive TV.

For a game like FEW, I'd take framerate over resolution any day. I'm not going to care about the resolution of the hundreds of soldiers, but I do care about how smooth it looks when I murder them with all my favourite Fates and Awakening characters. Where's my PoR and Radiant Dawn heroes? Aww!

I'll Switch between the two to see but I just think 720p is just to much to ask in 2017 also we have no idea framerates are locked or unlocked either.

Depends on the size of your TV. Mine's is essentially a big PC monitor so resolution is by no means a concern for me. If you've played a Warriors game before, you'll know it's all about the action anyway.

I really do wish they hadn't gone solely for the 3DS games for this. Such a waste of a long and storied series. I'm fully expecting DLC at this rate.
