| Couch multiplayer favourite beloved of our own Jay Moyles, now on the mighty Nintendo Switch. A great fit for the machine, and hopefully out in time for infuriating multiplayer shenanigans at the meet. |

| Hmm, despite the Team17 name I wasn't interested in the slightest in this when I saw it. Could someone give me a quick sales pitch please? |

| Working with 1-3 amigos to cook dishes whilst the kitchens/dishes get a little more kerazy. It's kind of a hard one to sell by talking about because until you're screaming at your mum to deliver some Onions it just won't click, but it really is one of the best local multiplayer games I've ever played. |

| I've played this and enjoyed it a lot, but it's definitely Andy who's harped on about before. Yeah, this is brilliant fun. I played it at a mate's and it quickly devolved into a screaming match with such classic lines as "PASS ME THE BURGER MEAT BEFORE THE EARTHQUAKE HITS!" and "YOU IDIOT DON'T FALL IN THE ICY WATER I NEED A MUSHROOM NOW!" |

| Sounds like another multiplayer blinder then! Switch is already filling up with these. Might be something to try out after I'm/we're done with Snippers and 12S. |

| It's so simple to play too - I think it's two buttons alongside moving about, so it's definitely a good fit for Switch in terms of its ease of play. |

| Everyone else loves it - and I love watching people play it - but my old man eyes quickly lose where I am, so my chef just stands sadly in the corridor, with a quickly cooling bowl of soup going to no customer. |

| Out this Thursday for £15.99 (currency unit may differ where you live). I saw this being played (and 'played') on Dara O Briain's Go 8 Bit not so long ago; it looked like a decent slice of anarchic multiplayer fun... which means there's no point me getting it. |

| I reckon this will be incredible with my brother and sister. I also now work in a restaurant so this will make sense with my colleagues. All over it. |

| If you can get the Wife to give it a go I'm sure you'll have a blast with it Zero.
I've played this with a few people and I think it really suits play with non-gamers. When I played with the gf by the end we were an incredible machine, but the crazy antics had died quite a bit. |

| Aye, it's simple fun, so that's why it gels well with your non-gamers. Plus, that initial madness of yelling at each other about burgers and soup is brilliant stuff. |

| If you're not distracted by more than 3 things moving on a screen, like I am, it's a hoot. They should probably have done a Ninty-exclusive thing - Breath of the Wild cooking anyone? We should all know how to make salmon meuniere now. |

| Can you place this and have fun on your own and does it have online CO-OP? |

| Buying this to play with The Lady. Does this thread need a title change, or will we all still be playing it summer next year? And will our Switches actually manage to link up this time? |

| I think we probably should give it a bash at the next meet-up, although whether or not we end up in Newcastle again is another story entirely! |

| The Lady and I are not very co-ordinated. We had fun with our first blast at this, but it was stressful fun. Chuffing shifting counters... Also: really addictive music. The first few notes of the tune were playing in my head for hours after I turned off the Switch. |

| Well, I got to the icebergs. They were indeed awful. Lovely tune though... Then I got to the end of game 1, then game 2, then all the DLC, and enjoyed my time heartily and stressfully. As I said elsewhere, Overcooked 2 is probably my favourite co-op game on Switch. And it's still free to try in its entirety for one more day, I think!
Anyway, not what I came here to note. If you've not picked them up yet, the complete edition of both games is coming to Switch in March, with online co-op. It's probably fair to say that this won't be most people's first choice of online co-op game in March, mind; but I'd say it's well worth it if you've not got either yet and can find people to play with. |
