That's my dream for the smartphone title 'Nintendo RPG' (title may change), in which Mario leads a merry band of Nintendo characters around a turn-based JRPG world in an attempt to rescue all the Princesses, who have been kidnapped by the forces of evil. Mario and Link are (anime) swordsmen, with Luigi and Donkey Kong mages (Donkey's spells are powerful but prone to backfiring) and Samus and Pit capable of attacking at range. On the field it's a bit like Dragon Quest. In battle, it's exactly like Dragon Quest.

Make that change and you've got a sale! I've had an idea for a while for a sort of "Smash RPG": party consisting of Mario (all-rounder), Link (power), Pikachu (speed), Samus (can switch between the two), Kirby (blue mage). Other characters as summons. Would be brilliant.

It's 2016, the 20th anniversary of the original Pokémon games! Nintendo are gearing up all sorts of new Pokémon games to celebrate this. First to come off the rumour mill is a game based around the theme of dreams: Pikachu is asleep and all his friends appear in his dreamscape to have simple minigame fun. The Pikachu detective game is still in the works: the section we've seen has you trying to solve a murder in a house, looking for both the murderer and the weapon. The third and final one we've heard of is another iteration of Pokémon Link: this one has no IAP's, or time limits, or goals, really - it's quite a relaxed thing.
Working titles are Pokémon Bed, Clue and Mellow.

But it doesn't stop there! I can confirm that Pokémon's birthday celebrations will last all year, and I can give you some hints about the next wave of games after that. The reason is that Nintendo have actually enlisted me to help with production on a trio of eShop games based on my life. The first is a therapeutic experience where one slowly shaves all the hair off a Pokémon in the shower. The second is a Meowth game, where the comedy cat has to pinch half-finished drinks from the bar without people noticing in an effort to stop a drunkenness meter from depleting. Finally, and perhaps most exciting, is a very personal and political game where one plays as a Pokémon Trainer in the West Country, the only young person in a sea of the elderly, penned in by a lack of social mobility, a crumbling economy and immense prejudice. Nintendo's new mystery console - currently codenamed NX - will be unveiled at E3 2016 as the Nintendo Xylophone. Launch games are to include Wii Music 2, Wii Music 3, Wii Music 4, and Wii Music: Zip Lash.

Ya see - Bulgaria's problem is that it has two separate divisions of Gamespot
Anyway: to avoid the potential concern of what happens when you abbreviate Sun and Moon when describing the Gen. 7 Pokémon series (and then Google Image Search it), they're announcing the "Yellow" version in the very near future. It's called Breaking Dawn (which is pretty clever, between the two, see). To break up the issue, they're actually insisting that you write the name of the new one before the other two OH GOD NO WAIT NINTENDO
