I had to do that with 84% completion, so you've done better than me!

Not the Wiki! 😱

I've just unlocked the dash, but I'm a little bit confused as to where I'm meant to dash to. Don't worry, I'll figure it out! I'm mostly just waiting until the point where I can thump the git in the top-right of the Crossroads, he's had his coming for a while but my (few) skills thus far don't seem to cut the mustard.

Is he a big fella with a club, does two damage per hit? You can take him on now, but I'd recommend looking at this handy picture guide for some support on the game's combat before taking him on. It certainly helped me out!

Double post, but that's me now at 104% out of 107% completion! I've only got the DLC content to wrap up along with filling up the bestiary. I'm looking forward to seeing the true ending of the game after all the juicy lore nuggets the game has been sending my way in the optional content I've been doing. Smile

True ending is good, and you don't have to do the DLC content to get it.

I've done basically everything apart from 2 bosses - one because I resolved the DLC in a different way that means you don't fight a boss, and the other because it's at the end of the Coliseum of Fools and the final trial is ridiculous.

I also haven't /quite/ completed the bestiary, but not sure what the point is (I think I'm missing 4 or 5 entries?)

That means I'll have 3 quests that I haven't got because they require a second playthrough, the speedrun ones I won't be getting, and the bestiary ones I'm not sure I'll get.

Amazing game though B)

Oh, I know the DLC isn't required for the true ending, but I want to cap off the game with the true ending - seems like a fitting end to me!

Yeah, I'll be skipping the speedrun achievements as well along with the achievements that require a second playthrough to fulfill an alternate choice, like you mentioned.

I should ask, seriously - is the round chap meant to be taken down at my current level, and I do just need to improve? I'm thinking the open-ended structure might result in a couple of examples where I can't tell if I'm not meant to be there yet, or just bad.

Yeah, you can take him down. The trick is to attack right after he swings then dash back - if he swings again, get in and attack before dashing back again. If he slams backward for the shockwave, then jump over it.

As for your spoilered boss, you can fight them then but I'd really recommend holding off until you reach another area and find a certain character to hone your abilities...

In fact, the same applies to your mini-boss club dude too if you're really struggling.

I beat that boss super early, but it turned out to be completely unnecessary. I'd say it was worth it, personally, as that fight was one of the best boss fights I've ever played, but mileage may vary.

There's an NPC who even suggests you do something else first before fighting the mantis lords

You should be able to take down the round chap (good name) - just jump in for single attacks and otherwise keep your distance, he shouldn't hit you.

Really? Where and who?

That's interesting that the devs suggest you skip them for now and actually explains why I found the fight relatively simple but Andy was moaning about how difficult it was.
