GNamer Logo Contest

Those sick of the generic Forumotion.com artwork atop the page will be happy to know that this isn't a necessary part of the site. It's actually a palceholder image for a logo/piece of artwork.

The_Jaster has been slogging away at creating an excellent NGamer-style forum mascot, but we need a logo to accompany the artwork. Anyone adept at this sort of thing, or fancy having a go? Post your original attempts and we'll collectively decide on the best one to get shut of our current boring header.

The only real stipulation is that it must be Photoshoppable (if it's wasn't a term before, it is now) so that it can be superimposed over/around The_Jaster's art.

I would have a go, but as you can see from my Avatar, I don't even copy art things very good.

I'm getting a DragonBall Z vibe from Grackler, Jaster. Great stuff! Were you planning on inventing a body for him/her(?) at all? Just an innocent question, I'm not trying to create unnecessary work.

So GNamer is definitely the name we're going for?

Now that you mention it, it does have a DBZ look to it (even though I've never watched that show) but I did google some goblin pics to get an idea of where I wanted to take it, and aye I will see what I can do about adding a body.

My quick attempt.

Xelviar's "signature" in those logos made me laugh. I like the second one most. Axis' is good too.

Philps'... not so much.

I kinda like the Cube looking one from Xelviar

My vote, thus far, goes to Xelviar's third one down. If only I had talent...

The first one of xelviar's is awesome!

The first one was more a "Idea" I had more than anything, because Stu doesn't want Nintendo to sue us in a unlikely event, I may make my own version of that, but I'm very surprised that the mock idea's going down a storm with everyone!

Perhaps Grackler could wear it on a t-shirt? Just a thought!

This, I really do like it! The cube logo reminds me of Escher's famous staircases. Cultural!

Phillips' effort comes a close second, though.

@Balla: Perhaps Grackler could wear it on a t-shirt indeed. Or we could all express Diddy Kong love by giving him a hideous baseball cap.
