The Wonderful 101 (Kickstarted on Switch!)

Tbh I thought it was pretty clear that the items/skills that the little robot chap is next to are top priority.

Just got wonder white, pink has a crush and nice bum again.

Just finished on normal, not much to say really it's a decent game which is different, did get a bit silly and epic at the end. I finished on 39 /101 bottle caps which is like achievements on other systems.

My copy may have arrived today, didn't get the chance to open the envolope before laving the house.

Hope you enjoy it more than I've managed so far, beemoh. I couldn't bring myself to play it again once I'd taken a break from it for Rayman Legends.

I've had this since launch day and I've still not managed to take the cellophane off it.  

Am I the only one to finish this game.

I'm near the end but when I fell ill I didn't have the reaction times to play and haven't got back to it since. I do love the game though, my only issue is the fights against the anti 100, I can't work out how to fight the buggers.

Update. There was a bug in the game that prevented figure 24 from being obtained.

I think there's another catch though: this wasn't actually that good, was it? I haven't gone back to the Wii U version in well over five years. But then, it's definitely got it's fans. Since I started typing this post, the funding has gone from £8,000 to £29,000.

If they fixed the overly long levels and the mechanic of drawing then it’d be alright, but I reckon that’s unlikely. I’ll stick to Bayo & Vanquish remastered I reckon.

A favourite of mine on the WiiU but I won't be backing as I'm happy to replay the WiiU version at the moment, and maybe pick up PS4 version or something at push when on sale then that only really be for trophies.

Same goes for Bayo Vanquish collection, both backwards compatible along with running a bit better on One X, that unless they go on sale, I'm fine with what I've got.

It's absolutely smashed its funding goal, but aye - I won't be contributing to it in a hurry. I'd add the cut-scenes and 'characters' to the points Andy's mentioned. Such a shame...

Wonderful 101 was great fun. Its not Bayonetta or Vanquish, but its better than most action games from folks who arent Platinum.

Looking back at my earlier posts in this thread it seems like I enjoyed W101 but I never actually finished it for whatever reason, I'll likely give it a second go when this remaster comes out.

I'm tempted by this, actually. Platinum games are usually solid at worst and I've heard good things about W101. It looks like a physical copy would set me back about £30 odd quid - do you lot reckon that's worth it and reckon I'll get on with it from what you know about my tastes in games?

I'm interested what the other 3 games of the Platinum 4 are, some rumors about Scalebound.

This is out on the eShop, and the reviews are out on the usual websites. Amazingly, it sounds like it's got the same setbacks and limitations as it did on Wii U. I thought it would be a really good game on a console where it wasn't forced to use the GamePad, but nope, the controls and camera are supposedly still arse.

Is anybody getting this? I wasn't at £39.99, but with improvements I could have seen myself picking it up for a discount at retail. Now, I'll likely just skip it.

If it goes on sale on the eShop or if the physical version ever goes down in value I'll probably get it, because I like Platinum Games and I'm intrigued by this. If I ever do, though, I'll probably study this YouTube playlist explaining the battle system because I saw it in the comments on the Eurogamer review and apparently it really helps explaining the gameplay in a way that the game just doesn't bother!
