The Christmas/Xmas/Hannukah/Saturnalia/BUY OUR STUFF Season

Just finished writing out 60 cards for work, but ran out of chocolate coins half way so need to go back and buy more before I take the cards in.

Wow. 60 cards!    That takes me back 30 odd years when I was at school & had to write that amount.  I now write 6 cards...

I got my Christmas T-Shirt today, pictures in coming when I've took some.

The first couple I wrote out were to women, then I came to my mate Gavin and I just couldn't bring myself to put kisses on his card. And that's how it went from there!

Although, I've eaten all the chocolate off my tree already.

My card technique is:

"Dear Name,
[printed message]
Brief attempt at personalised comment,
Lots of Love (if family)/Best wishes,
My Real Name"

No chocolate coins though. What do they think I am, made of money? (Chocolate or otherwise.)

With birthday cards or Christmas cards to friends and family I try and put a little message in there, but when I'm writing 60 in one sitting then fuck that.

To be honest I'm actually quite disappointed I don't put many kisses on messages to my male friends. I'd love my house to look more Christmassy, it's not too bad but if it were up to me I'd have full blown suburban America style decorations.
