| Yeah ZeroJones post in the last game you finished thread like the day after this came out, but for me personally I want to finish Uncharted 2 which I'm on Chapter 20-odd, Start Uncharted 3, Ratchet & Clank, Play more Severed as I got to do a review and Alienation is out now as well plus everything else out. |

| I was having a great old time on this tonight until the life system goes and ruins it for me, happily made my way to Venom to fight Andross where I proceeded to get battered (some bosses have been real tough for me) lose all my lives & it bumps me back to phase 1 of the level which gives me a lot to redo.
Bah! I guess I'll just try to finish it tomorrow. |

One boss that instantly sticks out is the Aquarosa you have to beat in 5 minutes when you find the Corneria worm hole.

It wouldn't be much of an issue if checkpoints where placed better and made more clear, not to mention even if you die once you lose any power ups you may have collected which makes fights way harder than they should be. |

| Started playing this. Had trouble first of all (if anything, the training missions left a bit of a sour taste before the main game) but got the hang of things by treating it like Starfox 64/Lylat Wars, and just Splatooning the pad a little bit to aim differently for things like dogfights. Ignoring the pad screen as much as possible basically. A bit annoying having to look at it to see what the little robot dood is doing, but it's so cute, so I forgive it! |

Firstly, Jimmy McCloud's advice of "look at the cockpit view my son" is in fact unhelpful - you have no chance of seeing the openings in the force-field. Anyway, I finally asplodified Uncle Andross with my last life, with basically 0 health left, and then there's the bit after that. Without any idea of what he was going to do, the Big Giant Head ammed into me and I died, potentially having to start the whole Venom thing again. I'm not sure if I'm going to try again. The controls don't bother me, and I just ignore one of the two screens. I think I may have realised I'm not quite as keen on StarFox-ery as I thought.

I was really fortunate to get through the very final section once I'd offed Andross - just adrenaline, really. If I'd stopped to think about what was going on, I'd have been a goner for sure. Strange choice, given that Andross himself is one of the hardest final bosses I've faced in the last two or three years. Damn game.

| I've just played up to Andross and I quite enjoyed it, I liked the different vehicle types, I just wish there was more use for them. Not sure if I'll go back to Andross, that was getting pretty infuriating... |

| I think the main issue I had with the Andross fight was the small arena you fight him in, if there was more of it then there'd be less of that frustration. Good to see you enjoyed it overall though. |
