Sounds like someone hasn't played enough games this year...

It's highly unlikely that I'd like it more than Rainbow 6 siege.

I've played loads this year, and Overwatch like I said is near perfect at what it does. Will it end up in my Top 5 at the end of the year unlikely if things like FFXV turn out to be good but over 6 months in its hard pressed to find something to top it.

It's a class-based team FPS - it's hardly what I'd call a fresh take on the genre.

It's a bit different because it has some MOBA elements like your abilities and whatnot. I wouldn't call it revolutionary by any means, but I'm not disputing the fact that it might be a great videogame. I can't say for myself having not played it, natch.

Yeah in till play yourself, you won't click why it's good and it's just not my word you just have to look at reviews around it as well. I'm a big not buying a game if multiplayer online game for full price but the BETA then the reviews convinced me yep this game is worth the money.

The closest game I would compare to is Splatoon, even though both very different but they have that same polish and it.

Don't get me wrong - I've really been tempted to pick it up, but after dropping Ł40 on Street Fighter V which is for all intents and purposes a multiplayer only title, I'm not wanting to spend any more than Ł30 on a multiplayer only game.

It's a shame too because usually what happens with these types of games is that they'll drop in price after everyone's already moved on to something new. I can't win! Sad

Overwatch definitely feels fresh, and it is a really good game. There's a reason it is so widely acclaimed.

Still mainly Overwatch which has gone from 30mins spells to about 3hrs session as I've not really felt like sitting down and playing something in a meaningful way. But now with all the indies I picked up and Telltale games, should be a lot I'm playing or finish to talk about and keep Zero company in the the last game I finished thread.

I still hope some of you get Overwatch as I'm yet to play in a proper team and I reckon we could get real good.

Also I don't know if PSVR should be added to the thread title in October.

I've just finished Ape Escape 2, so I'm looking to start a new PS4 game shortly. Does anybody have any advice as to what I should play next? The unplayed PS4 games in my collection are Tearaway Unfolded, DMC: Definitive Edition, The Last of Us Remastered, Killzone Shadow Fall and Transformers Devestation, so advice on those is what I'd be after. FIFA 17 aside, I'll not be buying anything new until a few of these are completed; where should I start first?

I've also got Gravity Rush Remastered, but I wasn't mad for what I played in it's first couple of hours. Should I give it a second chance?

Ideally I'd like to play something that I can complete in ten hours or so.

Cracking list there! I've never clicked with Gravity Rush, but it's pretty samey, so if you don't click I don't think you will.

The Last of Us is the best on the list as far as I'm concerned, though I think it's about 15-18 hours long, so maybe a little longer than you're after.

Tearaway is a wonderful little game that I think would be the best shot given the criteria, though Transformers will also fit very snuggly. Problem with Transformers is that you could be playing DmC instead, which is a much better Hack n Slash game.

Killzone is the least exciting game on the list, it's a solid FPS if that's what you're after, but it doesn't have much WOW factor aside from the graphics.

Cheers 21 Crump Street, it sounds like I'll give Tearaway Unfolded a bash. That's quite good when my worst PS4 game that I've still to play is "solid". Thumbs Up!

I've been playing the PES 2017 demo & also the Nioh Beta.

PES 2017 demo

This is absolutely cracking, every team & even player feels uniquely different which just makes it feel alive compared to last years game. Even when I drew a game 0 - 0 I still had a blast playing it.

Nioh Beta

The biggest problem with this one for me is the difficulty, which can be down right unfair at times but compared to the alpha a number of months ago it has improved so much & I'll likely be buying the full release.

What system are you playing on Jas?

I have played PES 2016 regularly on the Xbox 360, but if PES 2017 is as you say, I'd be seriously looking at a PS4 purchase. I sink hundreds of hours in to PES, so it may be worth me pushing an NX purchase back (it's fairly safe to assume PES won't be on NX at least until PES 2018, right?)

I'm on ps4, tried a handful of the older PES games on my brothers Xbox but couldn't enjoy it as much because of the controller. (Just too used to the Playstation layout)

Aye I'd say that's probably correct.

Echoing Crumpster's thoughts, but thoroughly recommending DMC. Cracking hack and slash game.

Gravity Rush is an amazing game so if it didn't click you should keep trying until you gain the correct opinion (TM)

But also play Tearaway and TLOU too, they are both fantastic.

Yeah Gravity Rush from what I've played is great but would say it's not a Cappa game, hence why I agreed with Andy on what Cappa should be playing.
