Is the text in SMS Japanese or English? Japanese GC boxes are awesome and a good size - the Switch cases look similarly "cute". I just picked these up on Steam (did have BD on 360 but no longer have a 360): Yet to play either but both look right up my alley (OTT Sega shooters). |

| Binary Domain was the best game about shooting robots ever made, might still be though I'd have to replay it in a post-Titanfall 2 world. (Vanquish is a close third). |

| Japandemonium Illustrated, big book of Japanese myths and monsters and yokai. As I've gotten really into the creatures and themes in Dark Souls and Monster Hunter, I've found myself wanting to know more about the mythology and fantasy of Japan. In one of Gaijin Hunter's videos about Nioh, he talked about Toriyama Sekien's collected anthology of myths, which is still a big source of inspiration to this day. I guess he was the equivalent of Tolkien, who gathered myths and creatures from European folklore and created modern fantasy (albeit about 150 years later than Sekien). Unfortunately, there was no English version Then, a couple of weeks ago, someone in the Midnight Resistance discord casually mentioned that an English translation was on its way! The timing was uncanny. It turned up today, and I'm looking forward to getting stuck in. It's huge, printed backwards like a manga, and looks lovely and clean inside, with reprintings of the classic illustrations. - Mmm nice book:

So far it looks like great value, I'll let you know how the actual content holds up. |

| This lot for £25. Those Wii games for a quid each in the new charity shop in town. Hyrule Warriors, Shape Up and LEGO Jurassic World were the last scraps of Sainsburys' games clearance - it was odd to me that the Wii U section had obviously been plundered yet the previous buyers decided to leave Hyrule Warriors. They had that OoT Link amiibo too, which I've never seen in stock anywhere. |

| My friend Katie got that, I'm definitely tempted. I'm really keen to pick up one or both of the Monster Hunter artbooks as well . . . I think I've got a bonus coming in soon, that's going straight on a load of games rubbish |

| We will see when we do are annual GOTYcast but at the moment with the few hours I've played, it's rather decent however knowing what games are coming this year then it will be tough for is possibly a high 9 to even make my Top 5.
I've said it before and I'll say it again 2017 will be the best year for games since 2013 and could top 2007. |
