Nah, I think the games are easy enough that one can play through using exclusively Pokémon they like. I name and love my 'mon, and treat them like real little dudes, which is a big part of why I don't play competitively. You just need a little imagination, guys!

I had to save it first to my computer, then use this site here to compress it and crop it down: http://ezgif.com/ . After that, I upload it to imgur and hotlink it from there.

Forumotion is a bit funny about file size, both literally its size and in terms of bytes.

Doesn't sound worth it to be frank. It's cute enough as it is.

I'm sure I will end up watching, reading and discussing much more of this, but I don't really want to see much more of the game.

I want to see a little bit more before release - a few more 'Mon to see would sate my need for information.

Probably just the traditional route 1 trash, they rarely reveal anything big straight after a big info dump and we're a long way out from release so it's time for the drip-feed to begin.

That or they'll reveal typings, but since the defenders of a certain terribly typed bird say typing doesn't matter in-game I think it's safe to say that would be the same as no info.

New stuff.  Solgaleo is Psychic/Steel, a brilliant typing; Lunala is Psychic/Ghost, which means it'll fall over if a dark type so much as blinks at it. (But it does have a Multiscale equivalent.)

Also I hate Hau already.  I hope the posh white girl is a bit more obnoxious.  Hope against hope.

I saw a video that said you could scan QR codes of Pokémon and that would register their locations in your Pokédex (or should I say 'Rotodex'?). If true, that's a nice use of the tech. Zero approves.

I won't lie that Sungaleo's signature move is seriously awesome looking!  That said, I find it hilariously ironic and a bit sad that the lion who is supposed to, from the looks of things, be the embodiment of the hottest thing in the entire solar system is weak to fire, the very thing it embodies. And who thought giving it freaking clear body was a good idea?  

And those typings, like, just wow.  I thought Rowlet had a bad deal!  




Region looks stunning though, like, I honestly don't give a single f*** about the rest of the things revealed, because they honestly matter that little compared to the splendour and brilliance of the region.  I've wanted a Pokemon game that looks like this for so long, SO LONG!  And it's finally here!

Surprised we haven't seen more Australian Pokémon actually. In fact, we could do we a region based around Oceania next time. Echidnas, kangaroos (the hideous Kangaskhan doesn't count), snakes, sharks, massive bug Pokémon...

Introducing... the boring starting monsters! Mongoose looks nice at least. Also, four-player free-for-all battling? Mindfuck if ever I've seen one.

I'm the exact opposite of Balla - I like the ones that aren't the mongoose (too angry for me). Liking the majority of the design so far! Keep it up, team.
