I know that a lot of yous have taken to MKWii again recently, which is understandable with the Wii's online about to die forever, but in the light of the recent MK8 announcements, has anyone else picked this one up again? I've just been re-familiarising myself with all the tracks in GP mode - Melody Motorway and Neon City are still great, and the Wuhu Island ones are still rubbish. It's got me even more hyped for MK8 too, because those gliders are brilliant.

I gave it a quick blast about a month back actually. It felt underwhelming for some reason, may have been down to being dazzled by Mario Kart 8.

Anyone fancy some online games of this at some point before 8 launches? It never really took off when it launched for one reason or another.

I could go for that, actually, if anyone else is on board.  Less hassle than trying to sort out another lot of Wii friend codes for less than a month's playtime.

So much less effort gone into the retro tracks. So much less. A couple of glide ramps, a couple of flooded sections, and that's it.

I'd be up for it! I don't think I've ever played MK7 with you guys. Or any Mario Kart, actually...

I'll try and join myself, my only Mario Kart option at the moment after prematurely trading it in.
