| I did vote for Metal Gear Solid V which looks like it was about 13th, shame as it's such a great game and it's not like Persona 5 which is a bit more niche.
I'm thinking number 1 is Breath of the Wild which is a tad odd as Super Mario Odyssey was the Number 1 Switch game, but if this was a Switch vote I'd be voting for Super Mario Odyssey where here it wouldn't be close to my decade games. |

Also whilst Ghost Trick was robbed, even if I’d been more serious with my votes after the top 5 I wouldn’t have remembered to vote for it, didn’t feel like the right decade. |

Jas you all. I know............I didn't leave any individual comments for each game in my personal top ten but I did end with a message saying that a chunk of my list could change very easily for a couple reasons, either I forget about ones (like Ghost Trick) or ask me on another day and I could probably do a different top ten of games I love just as much. I get the appeal but this is also why I've never been that keen on making lists like these. ---- Yeah....Bloodborne definitely deserves to be at least in the top 5, while that same great souls template is there to see it does so many other superb things to set it apart & make it stand out on it's own merits. Actually it actually irks me slightly when I see folk use the term "soulsborne series" because when you break them down in terms of combat they are so different. |

| Nice to see Bloodborne make it in. I didn't vote for New Leaf, but it's a cracking little game too and definitely deserves a spot in the top ten. Mass Effect 2 I've never played but consistently hear it's people's favourite.  |

There's that common analogy of how Nintendo has a ton of ideas in their Mario games that could fuel an entire adventure for a lesser game, but Nintendo has them appear for only a level or two. I don't think that's ever rang more true than with Odyssey.

| The Witcher 3 is a brilliant game. However, I just restarted it with a view towards finishing the dlc and it does feel old. It was never the best looking game, but since having things like Red Dead 2 come out you look at this and think, that's a bit rough. It doesn't change the fact that it's incredibly well written with solid gameplay. There's just an initial inertia with it. |

| I started Witcher 3 recently, but got distracted by other games mainly as I know in 10hrs let's say today playing Kentucky Route Zero, I'll get that finished where in Witcher 3 I'll get not a lot done.
I think it looks great but the combat feels a tad old now |

|  It wasn't even close was it? If one thing is clear from this vote it's that Switch is a bit popular around these parts and rightly so. No surprise with number 1, every comment with those votes is accurate, quite surprised by number 2 but makes perfect sense. There's a few games in this top 10 that I really need to around to playing soon, Dark Souls and The Witcher bring top of that list. |

I will say one thing, though: Mario Kart 8 is genuinely really good and deserved to chart highly. I don't see it as a disappointing 2nd place at all, especially for this forum who all came together to play it loads. |
