Scribblenauts Unlimited - Delayed :(

And the funny thing is here it is now at a discounted price

So, according to a new update, we finally get this amazing game on December 6.
Some three months after the rest of the world gets Scribblenauts Unmasked. (You'd think they'd bundle the two games together but no........)

I'm interested in the game, (Scribble Link > all) but not buying until a massive pricedrop out of principle.

They lost the chance of me buying this a long time ago.

 


Still get it at some stage as it was a rather good game

Did they ever give a decent excuse for all this? Or did they just blame it on the difficulty of translating for all the European languages?

I'll get it eventually but it wasn't urgent when it was originally coming out.

The European version of the game cost me £3.74.

I don't care about this franchise any more, let alone the game. Way to go, Scribblenauts Unlimited. Way to go. (slow clap)

It's just going to be lost in amongst all the games coming out around that time. Like andyman I may get it later but it's far from a priority.

The next Humble Bundle is live in just over two days time. I'd be surprised if this is the usual sort of Humble Bundle (where you can pay anything you like, from a doller/63p upwards), but it does say 'pay what you want'...

Aren't Nintendo publishing the game on Wii U over here, rather than Warner? Not sure how much Warner get out of each sale in that case, but they probably don't care enough to want to hold off a sale of the PC version. Which is a shame.

"Release ME3 without ME1 or ME2" was an even worse release strategy than the price.

Yeah, I already owned the game, but if I hadn't I would have gotten Scibblenauts plus 5 other games for the princely sum of £2.80. That's 47p for each one.

It was a pleasant surprise to see that Arkham Asylum and Arkham City were a part of the bundle as well. I look forward to getting in amongst those again someday, but for now I'm playing my way through Unlimited. It's good stuff!

Unlimited deserves to completely bomb on Wii U. They really have mucked this one up good and proper.

I'm sure when it does fail it'll be because the Wii U sucks and they're pulling support for it.

But Warner is one of the best 3rd party's on Wii U. We should all buy this, we won't but we should.

Agree, I was trying to say if we want 3rd party support we have to buy there games the normal thing you see all the time on the net.

Ahh, I do hope they have more sense than to judge Wii U on this though, even to judge Wii U on Arkham Origins would be unfair as both have come a lot later than they should have and I really don't like how many 3rd parties seem to be holding Wii U owners at ransom.

The strange thing is, I will get the Nintendo version eventually, simply because I like the idea of Link riding a velociraptor. But not until a massive price-drop. I'm not going to reward them for their ineptness.

I don't think the Wii U version is worth considering at this stage. It just doesn't matter. A good game is a good game, and Unlimited is now available for a few quid with six other games (including, funnily enough, another that's out on Wii U - Arkham City).
