So to anyone that's played this, is it basically the same of previous versions because I quite enjoyed it on 3DS, basic as it may be.

I wouldn't know. As I said, my knowledge of Pokemon is zero. Hopefully, Pokemon Y will introduce me to the wonders of everything Poke.

Got a download code for this from game (mainly so I could buy a pro controller for a tenner) and it isn't great, very basic and seems a bit of a step back from the enjoyable 3DS version. The main reason I'm posting here though is to say how much potential NFC has, just a shame Pokemon couldn't have used it in a better way but I'm optimistic.

Got Darkrai and Black Kyurem (I think) with it, tempted to try and get them all.
