Okay lads: Ace Attorney, Hellblade, Activision's baby nonsense, the PS5's stealth announcement. Any preferences for taglines around any of the above? I couldn't ignore today's reveal, but we have a lot of potential tagger subjects to cover. Some help would be appreciated!

To be honest as maybe the biggest PlayStation fan, I'm not that interested at the moment even on paper it sounds decent as if Xbox Scarlett is basically the same I'd be getting that first, unless PS5 launches with Horizon Zero Dawn 2 or something.

Quick clarification: these are going to be in the style of other 'themed months', like the restaurant one or the music festival one. So they'll all start with 'saving the forum today' and then a dreadful/brilliant superhero pun. Sorry if that wasn't clear!

I'm sorry. As mentioned, we've done a couple of these before: Film Festival, novels, GNamerbury, the GNamer Christmas Choir, and the GNamer restaurant. They seemed to work well enough! But if you're not so keen, we can change it. I'd like to know why this one's different, though: is it just because I didn't communicate it well?

They've all felt a little arbitrary compared to just a general theme. Maybe this one seems more so because most of the puns well just be sticking man on the end of a word.

To be fair, none of the ones used thus far or in the admins.' reserve bank (apart from an utterly terrible one from me that we're not using) have just added 'Man' to the end of something! (Or 'Woman', 'Boy', or 'Girl'.) But we can go for more general taggers to avoid the arbitrariness if people would prefer that, no problem. And if Jay agrees, natch: The Big Man hasn't been online for me to ask.

I don't care much either way, and I'm not saying my entries were anything particularly special, but when you mentioned a superhero month I thought that had a lot of potential but then the actual idea seemed to neuter that potential for no reason.

No need to be sorry, and it's fine to have themed months but as I've said before taglines are always better when they're off the cuff & it just seems like you can't be that funny with how this one is laid out.
