Runbow (I like the way you run, bow... on Switch)

Ah, didn't know that! Fair enough if it's a cheaper rate on the eShop as opposed to physical.

I rather like that way of tiering it. Still don't like the game, mind.

I'm not hot on it, that's for sure. I described it to Andy as feeling like one of those games that people are throwing shade at when they say "Super Mario Odyssey has gimmicks for a part of a level that some developers would build their whole game around." That's not to say the gimmick is bad - it's just not enough to build a whole game around in my eyes.

The one benefit of Zero being gone: we can slag off Runbow all we like!

This is starting to sound like buying it was a mistake in terms of multiplayer.

I'll still be down for multiplayer games, as will Andy I'd imagine. We only need a couple more and I'd say that's enough for a good group game.

I still really like Runbow it just isn't the best thing to play solo but that's not surprising since the whole idea of the game was set around local multiplayer from the start.

While I'm not a big fan of how the characters feel (it's all a bit floaty-feeling), my main problem remains that I'm bobbins at it. While it shouldn't be enough to make a good game feel bad, it's definitely enough to make a game I'd probably find relatively meh anyway feel bad. In order to enjoy it more I'd need to 'git gud', in order to 'git gud' I'd need to play more of the multiplayer (which I don't enjoy - see above) or the single-player (which you say yourself isn't the best thing to play, and I agree)... hence my ambivalence.
