Huh, I see no emotion whatsoever.  I imagine that's just professionalism and he's wetting himself with joy just below the surface, and I won't read anything to the contrary.

Has anybody here ever applied for a games magazine job? Is anybody going to apply to this one?

I applied for a couple at Videogamer and stuff. The main thing is having a lot of work to point to - which is why I started doing ginners and why I should probably get back to it. I'm actually liking my day job these days but I would enjoy getting paid for all the content I make one day.

Is it just me that occasionally thinks of a game they want to play then has to go and check if I already own it or not?

Not play but pick up like I can remember what GameCube games I have but if I look at PSP or OG Xbox in a shop I'm like umm do I own this.

I just found out I can connect the switch pro controller to my pc and laptop via bluetooth. So pleased

That's pretty tasty . . . I'll remember that if and when I fancy some steam stuff again.

You just got a plug it in via USB the first time, and make sure the controller has some charge, then windows will recognise it.

The second step is to go into steam and then settings , controller.

By default it's set up to think you're using an xbox pad, tick the pro controller box and games will recognise it as a switch pad instead, with all the appropriate button prompts.

Only thing it struggles with are the plus and minus buttons.

This only works in steam, which has official Nintendo support. Games outside steam need third party software apparently.

I didn't see anybody posting about The Legend of Zelda's 35th anniversary yesterday, but it's not too late. Let's post our Zelda collections here.

I have started a series playthrough and recorded a podcast about Tom Cruise vehicle "Legend" so I'm not completely forgetting the anniversary.

My Zelda games are in at least two, possibly three different buildings, and some are in my coffee table-trunk. I'm not going to be able to take a picture of my collection. That said, I'm sure the plush Link on my windowsill is overjoyed.

My issue is getting all 40+ games, 20+ books, consoles etc all together in one place big enough

But if you're not not not not going to rank it properly, you might as well not not not not not rank it at all. There is no way on this earth you ACTUALLY think WoG is a better game.

BotW is a better game, yes but which one did I enjoy more though, that's why it's my personal ranking with Wand higher.
