Might be an idea to get Pokémon from GAME?

Sainsbury's appear to have reduced the prices of even more of their games: spotted last night were New Art Academy, MGS Snake Eater 3D and Mario Tennis Open for just £9.99 each and Professor Layton And The Miracle Mask for £14.99.

I've been shopping around for Layton recently, thanks for the head up on that one!

From tomorrow, Argos are selling the 2DS + Lego LOTR + Moshi Monsters: Katsuma Unleashed for £99.

Those two games might not be the best, but they have a £21 trade in value at CeX, meaning the 2DS is effectively £78.

EDIT: That is a huge letdown that Amazon ended that offer prematurely. It really was one of the best I've ever posted - get three games from a choice of Castlevania, Rhythm Thief, Starfox 3D and Heroes of Ruin (amongst others) for only £20. Yeah, they're a bit older, but I saved over £37 on Amazon's usual prices on the games I bought. I can only hope others reading got involved.

I was lucky in that I had been waiting for Castlevania and Tekken to drop to around a tenner apiece. I'd held off on both for ages. That I could get them brand new - and with Revelations chucked in - for that price was just swell.

Amazon's 3 for £20 deal is back, but it's not as good. The choice is now only out of Street Fighter 4, Tekken, Dead or Alive, Resident Evil: Mercenaries, Art Academy and Steel Diver.

Ah! The stuff nobody would have bought! Gives us hope that they'll maybe revamp this offer again in the future.

Were I just getting my 3DS if wouldn't shake my head at Tekken 3D, SSFIV3D and DoA Dimensions new for twenty quid, mind.

HMV are currently having a 'Yellow Sticker' sale, which whacks 50% off of the cost of games with a - yes! - yellow sticker on the front. There was quite a lot of 3DS and DS games in my local store, such as Bit.Trip Saga for £3.99, Sonic Colours for £6.49, a whole bunch of Lego 3DS games for £6.99, FIFA 13 for £7.99 and Mario Tennis Open for £12.49. It looked like the best stuff was already gone, but might be worth a gander if you're near an HMV all the same.

Did anyone nab Animal Crossing, Mario & Luigi or Donkey Kong whilst they were eight quid for half an hour on the Nintendo store the other day? I got Dream Team Bros., but am still waiting for the download code to come through...
