| Today, my fourth 3DS console arrived from the USA. That means I have 2 XL and 2 regular, one each PAL and NTSC. I really wanted to have an NTSC in XL, as it is the only way I want to play, but I got my first 2 regular consoles before the announcement of the XL. So now I can import what I want, at usually lower prices to go with what I buy locally. It really helps with collecting puzzle pieces and completing Secret Quest II as well. Mind you, I may need to wear cargo pants, as I need more pockets to put them all in when I go out for the coins and Streetpass hits. I would get rid of my others, but I just don't do that. I still have 6 GBAs (3 styles) and 8 DS (4 styles). You might see me on a Hoarders epsiode one day My collection of 3DS games is still relatively small, amounting to only 22 full (retail) games so far, which I am sure is massively eclipsed by Stu's collection. It has been a slow start, but there are a lot of great games coming through now.

| This thread makes and will likely continue to make my collection seem puny. One 3DS xl and three games. |

| "Only" two: a Cosmos Black version that I bought on launch day over two years ago, and a Silver & Black XL which I bought a fortnight ago for just over £100. I must admit, I really like the XL.
I tried trading in the Cosmos Black one today, but was disappointed to hear that - even with the box, AR cards, cradles and the rest - nowhere was giving me more than £50 trade-in. That's rubbish. |

| One, which still works perfectly and therefore does not require replacing/supplementing. |

| 98 DSes, oldschool? 98?! I have one 3DS. Aqua Blue. I only have 10 boxed games, along with New Leaf which is in the process of downloading, and a handful of downloadable titles from the eShop. Still a few games I want to get though (Paper Mario, Kid Icarus, Virtue's Last Reward...). |

| Just two at the moment, my Cosmos Black launch day UK 3DS and an Aqua Blue launch window JPN 3DS.
I must say I really appreciate Cosmos Black, it still looks really slick two years on, especially the faint stardust effect on the lid (Aqua Blue has a similar gradient on the lid, but it's visible from fewer lighting conditions).
Problem is, though, is the previous owner of my Japanese Aqua Blue 3DS (which came with SSFIV 3D), destroyed the D-Pad so it feels mushy, giving off a far from crisp feel. I'm blaming SSFIV 3D, as he practically played that game to completion after looking through his progress. |

| Aren't you optimistic that we will get a western release sooner rather than later? I am just going to wait for that. I can't justify a Japanese console as I wouldn't buy enough games for it to be viable. Bloody region locks, I hate them. I hope someone hacks an ability to bypass it soon. |

| The special editions posted do look nice, though the XL -- with its special editions essentially being new lid and battery panels on top of the standard colours -- has made special editions feel a lot less special. And far cheaper for Nintendo to put together, too.

Not really, I'm going to wait about 6 months after the Japan release to see if any announcements do happen though. |

| I've got one (which is my 4th) white XL which had mario kart 7 built in, got 6 cartridges and 4 retail games as downloads (animal crossing, mario kart 7 etc) then the eshop and VC games. I am always tempted by a special edition maybe a pokemon one for X&Y would be nice. |

| I have my Black launch day 3DS (EU region) which I have now passed on to someone else, as long as they regularly streetpass me. I have a Zelda edition 3DS (EU) which is my main 3DS console. And a Blue 3DS XL imported from America which I hardly use but I've customised with a tasteful American Flag decal. I'm loving VLR with the English voiceover though. |

I'm loving VLR with the English voiceover though. Ahh so that's how good decals look when you apply them properly. |

| That's a nice setup!
I've only got two, a UK cosmos black 3DS and a JPN aqua blue 3DS. I actually dislike having several consoles for some reason, just because I guess the advent of digital means I like having everything in one place. Seems weird having to pick up separate handheld hardware that I can only play a certain game on, compared to DS software where I'd pick up anything to play my games, from the Lite to the DSi XL to the 3DS.

| How did I miss this thread? Currently I have two 3DSes (one regular and one Pikachu XL), which is very conservative by my standards. I will be getting myself a black and blue 2DS next month, however. Slightly more typical of me: my Backloggery tells me I have sixty-nine retail (boxed) 3DS games. This doesn't include the bazillion eShop/Virtual Console games I have. |

| Having more than one 3DS is just cheating at Streetpass. |
