Panic over: We're getting Call of Duty

Yeah Yeah, see this is why i quite want the Wii U version. So can play online with you and any other GNamer member who get's it, got to be more of you playing this on Wii U then PS4.

Considering we can expect that PC number to be compromised by the fact that so many people will have bought online, which isn't in the charts, Wii U was responsible for less than one percent of sales. It might literally just be mas and Buska playing...

Eh, there were a couple of thousand people online (which I know is nobody for a COD game but was enough for me).
I suppose the problem is most people who have a Wii u at the moment have something else to get those sorts of games on.

I forgot to mention this - my local GAME didn't get the Wii U version in last week. No sign of it whatsoever, and I doubt those massive midnight queues were for it either. HMV had it for £49.99 though, the robbing bastards.

Yeah the Wii U version is in between price wise current & next gen version of COD, another fact on this is the PS4 version of COD sold more on launch weekend then AC4 did on PS3 and more the Battlefield 4 on PS3.

I don't know if that just means people are waiting for next gen versions of these games or just lot of people want COD on PS4.

Well, most people do tend to buy games like Assassin's Creed and Battlefiled 4 during launch week, so it makes sense that their 2nd week sales are lower than 1st week sales of Call of Duty Ghosts on PS4 - especially when there is a next-gen version that some people are waiting for, and many online retailers sent out Call of Duty.

So according to Digital Foundry:

Wii U - good res, bad framerate (but will be improved with patch)
360 - decent res, good framerate (NOT locked 60fps all the time but close)
PS3 - bad res, decent framerate (>Wii U, < 360)

Just read the article and it says in the last paragraph basically 360 version overall best, Wii U version overall worst.  

I don't really care to be honest as I will be playing it in 1080p and 60FPS in 17 day's. Just seen a review for the xbox one version and according to the review it looks a bit better then the current gen verision's but you hardley tell, and goes on how the PS4 looks the best out of console and it seems weird as everyone thinks COD as a xbox game etc.

Unexpected news!
The Wii U version got a big update today! Extra map and a lot of fixes.
Tempted to actually get this now. Once May comes, there will be a distinct lack of online shooters that make use of the Wiimote.

Good News Seems the Wii U is getting Advanced Warfare and will be at E3 running on a Wii U.

That never happened and still not confirmed about the U but some good news for all 6 people playing black ops 2 online, Nuketown 2025 is finally available to download.

Wasn't that available at launch for every other console?   

Yep it's only took 21 month's to bring it to the U.

I find this both hilarious and random. I keep my games updated even though I have never played this game in case I ever decide I am so bored I will suffer this agony.

Yeah a bit random it's nice still be patched & updated but really this far out and the U has ghosts which could do updates more than black ops 2.

I will try it out as I've never played nuketown 2025 before.

Also Die Rise could be coming as it was the select screen but you couldn't select it but has since been taken down but could still arrive.

So today there has been screen shots online of targets (I think) computer system in store with Advanced Warfare listed to becoming to the Wii U.


So not sure if this is a watch dogs situation or just a mistake by target.

Well we didn't get COD:AW but we might be getting Black Ops 3 and the rumours for that is on the website you can link your PSN account etc and NNID is there, also Black Ops series is done by treyarch who did black ops 2 and handled the port of Ghosts to Wii U and the Wii COD's but like with AW will the team being focusing on PS4ONE and a port team handling the other consoles like what happened to AW.

Which makes me think a port team wouldn't bother with the Wii U. So we wait and see as the community is still decent on the Wii U on both COD'S that people might buy it on the U.

I don't think call of duty would do any good on Nintendo home console, it's better off with hardcore fans with PlayStation & Windows where it belongs. I understand some but not all of them to bring it to Nintendo to try these games out but if they don't sell well enough not worth giving it to Wii U these kind of games. Wasn't meant to be on this Wii U begin with, I am not 100% sure why they chosen these type of games on this generation Wii U. Are they worried about people going for these type of games which nintendo don't normally have or do to get buyers to get there home console?

Why shouldn't a Nintendo system get these games, more games of any genre is a good thing. Because the Wii U doesn't get 3rd party games like COD is why the Wii U gets pointed and laughed at.

Also if the NX is a home console, Nintendo need to make amends with 3rd party and have all the same as the rest. So you don't need to buy a PS4 or ONE but time NX comes out, mostly likely people will have a PS4 or ONE.

Yeah I mean Xbox One, I am not saying they shouldn't bring them out but the biggest question is will it work to sell? I personally don't think they would as they're becoming cheaper on the Wii U which is scary to see in GAME/CEX. Yeah I do agree with you that more games the better but that what nintendo home console is lacking right now is new fresh faces and ideas to make more games on your shelve. I understand remakes like legend of Zelda but not call of duty kind of stuff. Well the hole idea of Nintendo since it ever come out was about child-free, family friendly and cheerful fans towards the console. Why would they even care about what other people think if they done extremely well over number of years now? I wouldn't personally.

I am not really thinking about the NX right now sorry I should do really but I am more concern what gotta happen towards the Vita than anything really and what the future going to be like for the Wii U? I guess they're really competitive now towards each other of who is the best with games. At the moment none home consoles are the best personally in this generation as of yet, I know the playstation 3 is the best at the moment in time of having all the choices within the games list for everyone to love in one console.

If it does come Black Ops 3 to Wii U, it won't sale like the 2 CODs and other 3rd party games that's why the U generally doesn't get them.

The CODs on the U have held there price better than there other console counter parts mainly due to lack of them compared to the others.

Good news COD:MW remaster might be coming to Switch, bad news Activision make it.

There is a link to the info on NLife, this does sound more like an MS thing to do than an Activision one, just not sure how much say MS has at the moment.

My thoughts on it, similar to the old chat as I did enjoy playing COD on WiiU, just something about it then playing it on PS4. That if these rumours true, I hope it has MP as I might be keen on it and would feel that space of an online FPS shooter for me on Switch (I do plan on playing more 3platoon then past games, maybe that will fill my shooting needs).
