Bravely Default - Or, Square Enix still loves stupid names

Bump, I know, but this comic about Edea and her new asterisk made me laugh.

Anything subverting JRPG fanservice makes me laugh.

I see your bump, Rum, and raise you a bump! This is my main (only) 3DS game at the moment; I'm on baby steps, really, with the intrigue of Chapter 1 set up. The only thing I have to say so far is "Ringabel? More like 'Ringabellend'".

Is anyone feeling any excitement towards Bravely Second? Can't say I am after hearing Revo isn't doing the soundtrack and the script is being handled by a different bunch of people. But maybe it will be for the better. It taking place in the same world also makes me wonder how 'recycled' it will feel, too.

Surely any writer change can only be a good thing if it results in us not seeing another Endless Eight type of debacle?

There's another thread for that game, Fronky! I still am excited about it, though. BD did a lot of things very very right, and if they can scrap the latter half of that game, I can take a hit to the soundtrack.

Chapter 3, or The Chapter That Would Not End, is now, er, over. And I'm stalling on it. It might be time for a Breakly Default...
