Sir Patrick Stewart does crazy things like that every so often on that there Twitter that there is. He should be made a Lord, I reckon. It'd be ace to imagine him in the House of Lords, kicking Lord Sugar up the arse.

Today is my 33rd wedding anniversary.  That's right, a gaming nerd has been married for 33 years.  I am the king of the nerds!  If I can hold onto a girl for 36 years, then anyone can.  

This is one of my favourite moments, taken on the world's largest sand island, Fraser Island.  It doesn't look like it, but that is a freshwater lake and it was as pure as you are ever likely to swim in.  Many years of great memories and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

I've always been sceptical of marriage (parental divorce plus close to all your friends going through the same thing will do that) but you're proof it works. Hope you have many many more happy years to come OS.

I should be a sceptic too Jay, as my parents divorced when I was 12 (best thing that could have happened as my father was a violent alcoholic).  Plus, every single one of our friends from our 20s is also divorced.  Apparently science has 'proven' that divorce is contagious, but we are obviously immune    If it is right, it is right and if it is wrong, then that is just life, you can't live without risk.  Compatibility is a tricky thing.  We really do work together well, balance out each others strengths and weaknesses - I have more weaknesses, seriously, she is a saint for putting up with my quirks.

I am actually lucky that Debbie finds my ......... let's call it, stickler personality treats ......... funny. She just laughs at me as I abuse the computer screen for all the horrible spelling I see, or my correcting signs with a big black marker. Not many woman find that an attractive trait.
