Hotel Dusk was my first exposure to a proper adventure game. It was so novel holding the DS like a book and I remember spending ages just soaking in the atmosphere of the hotel, enjoying the smooth tunes and the almost cozy feel to the game.

I really ought to replay the game as I remember literally zero of the story beats beyond having to help a little girl with her jigsaw puzzle, which I think happens right at the start.

Yeah man, that's like chapter one. I can heartily recommend a replay for anyone.

I bought it for someone else, and I played it for quite a bit, but it's since sat dormant on a shelf. I may have to dig it out. Probably in 2021...

Good video. I've not played many of the games on your list, maybe next year. I haven't played Death Stranding but I'm thinking I'll get it on sale at some point. If it was on the Switch, which I know it never will be, it would make picking it up so much easier as I could commit a bit of time to it every lunch break.

Looking forward to this. I want to do this sort of thing as well and have made a script for a video. Unfortunately gameplay footage messed up so I couldn't upload the review and will have to re-record bits.

I could see Death Stranding working well on the Switch, do a delivery here and there, then you come to a cutscene which a tad long that I don't know would lend themselves to on the go.

Oh can you not pause the cut scenes then? I like games that allow you to do that.

Yeah you can but I know this will put people off but I can compare to a movie and unless I need to go to the loo or the phone rings. I'm not pausing that as I want to enjoy the film.

It would just annoy me pausing it and coming back.

Mas . . . Did you piss yourself playing Death Stranding?

I'm pretty sure pissing yourself is a "feature" in the "game" right mas?

I don't if you do piss yourself or not, as every so often I would go for piss (in the game).
