I feel I'm maybe the most open on here, maybe Drunka to any genre. Just looking at what's been this year on Switch, only those 6 have some interest and none are must plays.

Fair enough that you might be more open but look at the games you posted about in the 'last game I finished' thread, I bet most of us on here hadn't even heard of them before........so that's pretty weird taste tbh.

Also I have to say Cadence of Hyrule and Cuphead are in with some of my favourite games I've played this year & are definite must plays.

Personally they aren't or I can wait for the physical verison of Cuphead for instance.

And yet they are some of the highest rated switch games this year.

Those to me are chips to steak and chips, could be the best chips ever (which you rightly say by the scores) but I want the steak.

CoH is a great big juicy musical steak with a side of those best chips ever! So you could have your cake and eat it......or steak & chips in this case.

I'd disagree. You have very clear tastes, but for some reason you're constantly trying things you know you won't like.

I do sort of agree as again why I've not played anything on Switch since GRIS and waiting for Fire Emblem as I may not like a Cuphead.

Yet I think you mean something more like Sekiro though in this regard as Souls games haven't clicked with me. Who's to say that wouldn't have though, and I'm always willing to try it.

What I did mean from what I said though was I'll play the AAA game, but also give a Doki Doki Literature Club, Her Story and the more out there games ago or suddenly play a RTS, and my horizons would be further afield then some on here.

Your tastes seem mostly (there are exceptions) to be 'the stronger the story is the more I'll like it' to me.

Now that I do agree with but another reason why I do like Nintendo games as gameplay is rather good, that you can get away with save the princess.

For what it's worth, it's definitely being a pretty quiet year so far for releases. I think we're used to the past couple of years where we've had some whopper releases in the first half of the year and then a few big releases towards the end of the year whereas 2019 seems back heavy to me.

And then we have 2020 where there's enough games for anybody to play for the whole year coming out by April...

I'd like to put my name in the hat for that title, mainly because I feel most people on this forum wouldn't play some of the rubbish I've tried (and sometimes enjoyed).

You're a brave man to have played that gash Car Trader game.

I know what I like and I like what I know.

I don't even like computer games at all, they're for children and dweebs.

The only game I actually like unreservedly is Dead to Rights: Reckoning for PSP, so that entirely encapsulates my taste in games.

I don't think there's a single game I like unreservedly. BotW could do with more monster and shrine variety, SMO's Moons don't feel like enough of an event, Ghost Trick is too short... I think the closest are TTYD and Meteos (shush), both of which I think pulled off what they were trying to do pretty much flawlessly, but those both have reasons inherent to their genres why they'll never be my GoaTs.

I proudly have zero reservations about anything, as anyone who knows me is well aware.

Any of you pick up MUA3? It looks much better then I thought it would and seems to be sold out everywhere to make it the 3rd best launch on the Switch this year, which is impressive as I've seen almost no coverage on it till this past week or so.

I'll be frank and say I didn't think that game looked up to much at all - looked a bit ropey, all told. Is it reviewing well, then?

That's what I thought then the lack of coverage, they must knew it's a tad ropey.

Well that was my thinking but nope, one of the best selling games even with reviews around the mid 7's.

I'll be getting it soon to play through with a friend, we played Ultimate Alliance 2 together and that was great

I think I want it but I don't think I want to play full price for it, especially when they've chucked a load of DLC at it already.
