Animal Crossing: New Leaf

One of my villagers wants a pile of pipes for our town, and by pile of pipes they don't mean a cool hommage to Super Mario Bros no, it's a stack of dull grey pipes, just what my town needs...

Finally have Kicks being built today, along with the second floor of the museum and an expansion on my house, think I just spent around 546,000 bells :affraid:

My cafe is open and doing a roaring trade (it's served me four times...), currently torn between building an oil drill and a Stonehenge replica - a tough decision as both are ugly and a bit pointless.

Can I suggest that the first post of this thread be edited to include Dream Addresses? I've been to a few people's towns, but not as many as I'd like, so this would be the ideal way to see other towns when the mayor isn't about. My Dream Address is 6700-2191-5054 if you want to come and have a gander, or search 'Plopton' as I'm the only person with that town name.

There's a character camping in my town who's catchphrase is 'alrighty!' and looks like he's suffering from severe conjunctivitis. It's like I've teleported into an Animal Crossing game.

I haven't actually used the Dream Suite yet. Apart from nicking fruits, online without the chat seems a bit... pointless. Am I wrong?

I've used it a couple of times, once to try it out and the other to run around Nintendos town.

Also I'm starting to think that my time with this is winding down to maybe mornings and evenings (would be just mornings but I need bells still). Only because I want to get Shampoodle and the cafe built then the time will be whittled down to just mornings so the town folk don't get overly pissed at me for being away until I give up completely with my final build of the pyramid they want

Frankly, mornings and evenings is all that the game requires. It doesn't expect you to play for long periods of time. Anyway, as far as I can see, it's got me for a few minutes for at least a year, while I try to fill up the museum.

I might try and get all the fish and fossils, don't really care about the bugs unless I do it at work as the game is a good time killer

Nah a pink female frog of all things.

How does one get or use pathways?

Yesterday there was some trading with one member of the forum: a fossil for three new types of fruit. Well pleased with that. Today I was given the petition that requires me to visit other people's towns... today! Can I prevail upon you guys to have your gates open this late afternoon/evening? I'm a good tourist, honest!

You make them at able sisters & any of those designs can be placed on the ground when you select them in the pencil icon tab.

But according to the wiki, they don't protect the grass. Which is a shame: Styx's grass is a bit patchy at the moment.

Ah alrighty then, and now I just had an idea but I wonder if it will work..

No thank you: fossils are the easiest section to fill up, and I enjoy doing it myself!

They're definitely not the easiest section to fill up - you wait until you're playing the game in 2014, looking for those same last two fossils that you've been on the hunt for since October. Fossils are a pain in the arse by yourself. By all means enjoy it now, but you'll want help later.

So, it's meteor shower tonight and I laid my path. I'm pretty pleased with it, though i had to make do in a few places because the pattern didn't line up.

I didn't know its a meteor shower tonight. Also, I have a perfect town status now but still no police station.

What happens during a meteor shower? Anything special?

Styx news bulletin: after a day of ravaging the island's ecosystem, the moai statue is now complete! On to the café.

I have to wait a week until the cafe and since I have had no new decent requests I'm doing a whole lot of home reno's like now adding a room to the right which I may make a bathroom kind of thing.
Still want to get some form of computer for my basement though but haven't seen any
