Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Finally made sure I caught the blasted Golden Scab and a few other unentered entries. Got some new fossils sorted out, and I got a few things to trade later after the Gym. contact me on Twitter when if you got anything for a modern bed and balloon lamp!

Does anyone know if there is a way to get a copy of my town map to print out? I want to plan it on paper before I start ripping plants and trees out willy nilly.

Can I suggest that the first post of this thread be edited to include Dream Addresses? I've been to a few people's towns, but not as many as I'd like, so this would be the ideal way to see other towns when the mayor isn't about. My Dream Address is 6700-2191-5054 if you want to come and have a gander, or search 'Plopton' as I'm the only person with that town name.

And I thought I was an obsessive planner... The map wouldn't be very good for planning, it doesn't have much sense of scale. You'll just have to use your judgement when planting and planning.

I'm still convinced Dream Suite is a great feature, need to find some decent towns to visit. Did anyone go to Nintendo Europe and America's towns? The basement of NoA's house made me grin - go look! Nintendo Europe; 7900-2106-3477, Nintendo of America; 5700-2038-6151

Has anybody been to see K.K. Slider at Club LOL on a Saturday night? I've managed to go twice and therefore get two songs. What's smart this time is that you can order more copies of the songs you've got through the Nookling General Stores directory for 3,200 bells each. Does anybody need/want K.K. Hollywood or K.K. Adventure? Naturally, I'd like some of the songs you might have too...perhaps we can do a swap.

Hate to say this, but I'm feeling a bit Animal Crossing-ed out for the time being. Giving my village a rest for a week or so...

Not just you. But I'm still seeing the villagers every day like the mug I am, if not watering all the flipping flowers.

I'm cooling down on this too. I've tried to complete a game in a month that's supposed to be spread over the course of a year. I'm not the only one to have done this, I bet.

Okay, whoever said that Yahtzee's gone soft was right. He's only gone and enjoyed Animal Crossing.

I've not located all this month's beetles and fish yet, but a change is as good as a rest. Concentrating on Partners in Time at the moment.

This has been knocked back to mornings where I wander about say hi to the people I like then that's it.
Unless I do any projects then I'll head down to the island at night for the bug hunt.

Today's "Balladeer gets excited about a really small thing" is the silver watering can. It can water five squares at once! It's like an explosion of water!  

Also it means I don't have to keep buying flowers from Leif any more.

As soon as tomorrow arrives I won't have played this for a week, just other games I'd rather be playing at the minute.

Tomorrow Shampoodle should be open for me. Then once I get the next T&T upgrade I think I'm pretty much done until a new season kicks in and I can get some new fish / bugs

Shanks, have you (or anyone else) found the Giant Stag (the one that resides on normal trees after 2300 and sells for loads) on the island? If so, that'd take some of the pressure off this month.

Think I got all the bugs this month, including the scare-it-and-it-paralyses-you Tarantula. Now all that's left is the fish and maybe a few other diveables.

I'm still popping in and doing my boulders/ fossils/ flowers/ friends routine, but I'm taking it slow, so as not to ruin the game for myself.

I wish there was a word for boulders that started with f.

Anyone found a spider or snail yet? They're eluding me so far.

No spiders or snails for me yet either, except for the one I saw in the opening where it follows a villager.. Did nab a walking leaf the other day

Tarantula usually prowls around in town at late night, the crab snails are from 9pm

I know the things you're thinking of: I mean the spiders that hide in trees, and the snails that appear on flowers.  They're not common.

Of course I then found three on the island this evening, and a fourth in town. Typical.

I've found a couple of spiders. They're in trees. You have to shake a tree and a spider might drop down and hang on the other side for a little while so you have to run around and nab it then. Nowt on the snail front, though.
