Those names are hilarious It makes me glad my name is sensible and common.

Right now I'm genuinely torn between double dipping on Fire Emblem Awakening by preordering it here in Australia despite already having a order in online for a cheaper price. Can someone please convince me to buy something else with that money? It sounds crazy but for some reason I need convincing.

Think of the anime figurines you could buy with that money! Or the food!

Perhaps, but experience with the Skyrim collectors edition has told me I give those a flick through and then never look at them again I prefer it when they bundle soundtracks in actually, since I tend to add my favourite tracks to a playlist and get quite a bit of listening pleasure out of them.

They aren't that expensive, the Nami one with postage cost me $100 and Lucy from FT will roughly be the same.

In collectors Editions you see the one for Injustice the statue with that is brilliant

Not when there are dvds, soundtracks, model kits, games, and game systems out there to buy it isn't. Not in my books at any rate. Besides, I have decided I shall have that model kit I posted earlier. Nothing like a humanoid weapon designed to usher in a new era for humanity (I'll pretend it doesn't get humiliatingly crushed in the show by the guy I named my account after...)

Got to give some credit to Phillips for keeping the Bargains Thread alive back on old NGamer. The column of wiggling Homers is quite hypnotic.

Phillips is trying to prop it up, but I wouldn't say it's going exactly. Maybe juddering a few paces every so often.

The number of active users is practically nil, but they're are still folk that read it. I remember updating the bargains thread a couple of months ago, and seeing that the number of hits the thread had go up by forty in the space of a day. Not great, but not bad for a deserted forum.

Poor old NGamer though.

It had a good run. I spent 6 years on there, including before and after the merger with CVG. I'll be very happy if this place lasts that long.

I do enjoy splurging Nintendo love all over the CVG article comments after a Nintendo Direct.

...that wasn't meant to sound as bad as it did.

I take it then that the average userbase of CVG is still just as anti-Nintendo as they were when I lurked there years ago.

You take it correctly, only worse because they've now got the Wii U as an easy target. The regulars who frequent the forum tend to be fairly sane or stay out of Nintendo threads, but there are more than a couple of article commenters that make me .

but nintendo is doomed and sony is going to buy over microsoft and bouncy castles will become extinct and penguins will rule the milky way!
