Yesterday I Bought (a bad pun) for 3!

Jings. What a way to blow fifty quid: a FIFA game that I'd already traded in, a Mickey Mouse game that I've already got on GBA, a fairly keech WWF game, the worst version of Mortal Kombat Trilogy ever made, and then A Bug's Life, which doesn't even work!

To be fair, FIFA is probably worth jumping back on board with considering the World Cup update that's on its way.

After the Hyperking Duke, I'm keeping on the OG Xbox theme with these rather pricey games


Jade Empire cost £16 and Morrowind cost £28 which at the moment is a bit of bargain as I've seen some recently go for £50+

Then this came Thursday and I feel I'll have some thoughts on it soon

Satoshi Tajiri biographical manga, which sounds pretty interesting and is aimed at children so I may be able to read it. And today I found some Pokemon pastries and cakes, and a pack of the Splatoon sweets I've been searching for!

Then I spent £6.60 on these after doing a Cappa by getting a load of 360 games my Dad bought for £10, sold Crash Mind Over Mutant from those on eBay for £15 giving my Dad that and trading the rest in the local for £24.39 and paying 60p for the Mega Drive Collection with the other two costing the £6 from CEX


GTA is backwards compatible from the 7th but is an odd one as the 360 version is what is backwards compatible but the OG version will unlock the 360 version, the Star Wars game is the wrong one though, it's starfighter that's backwards compatible.

Starfighter and Jedi Starfighter are bangers - worth playing if you can get copies.

I actually thoroughly enjoyed the first of those turtle films but I just can't get on board with their gross faces.

Only one of those are on the OG Xbox but I do plan to get all the OG Xbox games that work on ONE and why I bought Clone Wars as I thought it did.

A few things


Paid £3 for Wolrd to the West, I think it got decent reviews on Wii U and for £3 Brand New Sealed was worth a punt as I get more for it in trade in.



Those at the boot sale for £6 and were exactly £2 each, when I got home I found out I had access to Black Ops III digitally that I've listed it on eBay.



I bought Sushi Striker from Argos as I had a £5 code from the Octopath cancellation, I did have Hyrule Warriors on order from a company I've never heard of for £25 but it's been cancelled.

I don't talk much about digital buys but all are having an E3 Sale, can't find much on Switch or VITA that takes my interest but have bought on Xbox One Alan Wake Amercian Nightmare, Alice Madness Returns, Divinity: Original Sin, The World II: Hunting Boss and Inside for less then £25.

I wasn't aware there was a Switch sale, I'll have a gander after dinner.

Ordered this MH World Hoodie & Tshirt over the weekend & it arrived today.

Some Nintendo things

...I think you're going to get a wee bit confused following that game guide for Hyrule Warriors.

Zelda is front and centre on both of them though with his sword.

Ah the bygone days when we had strategy guides. Used to be able to walk into any video game shop and find a section of them, nowadays it's all bobble-head figurines instead.

Speaking of strategy guides for Zelda I actually found my old copy of the hardcover limited edition of the Phantom Hourglass guide the other day while packing. I'd long since forgotten I even bought that.

Picked these up today after laybying them since Infinity Wars came out. #thanksforthesalesThanos  Now all I need is Thor Ragnarok and Infinity War and I'll basically have every Marvel movie worth owning! (that I've seen)  



Also just realised that Hawkeye and Widow aren't on that cover for Avengers.  

Saying bobble-heads etc where I went yesterday a shop I came across only sold Funko Pops and nothing else, didn't seem a sound business to me.

I used to like grabbing strategy guides and poring over them, long after I'd beaten the bits they were guiding me through. Made me feel smug.

I really need to pick up a copy of those Zelda hardbacks. I bought Hyrule Historia for Balla for one of the Secret Santas and was very envious when it arrived - wished I bought two copies!

I have the previous 2 and Im waiting on delivery of the encyclopedia to complete the set. They really are wonderful books, just packed full of stuff. I need to give them a proper read through, Ive only skimmed through them so far.

Theres a Mario encyclopedia coming in October too that looks to be a pretty hefty tome, hopefully its the same high quality as this series.
