Super Smash Bros. 3D-Specific Thread

I enjoy the best of both worlds though I do find that I am playing my normal 3DS more then the XL

err....sorry about that........so what's peoples thoughts on the health percentages being on the touch screen? Not fussed? Don't like it? Or you haven't really thought about it?

 Admittedly there's not an awful lot to discuss, given that we're not allowed to talk about the trickling-out details and that we've all said if we're going to buy it or not.

I don't think I'll notice much difference regarding the percentages, or the touchscreen target tracking. I'm more concerned with how the outlines will look in motion and with 3D enabled. Going to try them reasonably thick first (oh behave) and see how that fares.

Not sure I'll know until I play it but that isn't as in sight as I'd like.

I'll probably be buying both like an idiot.

Er, actually being part of the discussion as opposed to blindly writing this time (sorry) - I think the stats being on the bottom screen's a good idea. It doesn't have to use the touch screen to do something convoluted (thank the lordies that Nintendo have finally got their heads round that).

I think I'll be staying with the 3DS version for a while and eventually get the Wii U Version.

So with today announcement and this game traditionally being able to use the c-stick do you think it will when today's announcement comes out & will it affect you buying this game as I know some of you a fan of the c-stick.

The new console's C-stick looks horrible to be frank. Tiny unusable nub. And then of course there's the fact that I have a perfectly good 3DS as is.

It's Nintendo the stick will be fine. I do agree my 3ds is fine but if more games like xenoblade only work on new 3ds then I will get one.

It's not really a stick and that might be a problem, someone I know on twitter likened it to perhaps being similar to a pointing stick on a thinkpad but who knows, I personally won't be making a choice about it until I see it in action or play it first hand myself.

That's called a Nipple Mouse and you know it.

I hated those little nubs on laptops, and if the new 3DS's stick is similar I can't imagine it being comfortable to play with. But, I never used the C-Stick anyway so it's no issue for me.

After skimming through the direct I'm less worried about it now, certain screens make it look like a nipple mouse and others a deep set slide pad but I guess we should trust Nintendo as most were concerned about the 3ds slide-pad initially & that turned out fine.

The game will use it, it's seems and there's even a limited edition new xl coming that looks the same as the one were getting but with all the new xl features.

Crazy Japanese trailer, anyone? Japanese launch only a week and a bit away - I'm going to have to try extra hard in my spoiler-avoiding (like I've been failing to do so far...).

Wait, this game is coming out early in october!? I thought it was due later, although thinking about it I don't know why I thought that.

Also I wish our trailers were like that, as opposed to the whole mundane plastic smile in a white lounge room stuff.

Shanks can put spoilers in the other thread right but surely we will know of it by then any way and can we ask him how it plays etc.

Yeah Aus gets it on the 4th,I'd imagine the US would be the same or a day before / after
