Not got the Fighters Pass yet as I was holding off until I needed it, now Joker has arrived I'll pick it up this week.

Some good games tonight - cheers for playing guys. I'm surprised I never got Joker once playing Random. I wonder if he's excluded from Random picks or something?

Those were some really fun games tonight, we definitely need to make this a regular thing again.

Agreed, it's been a while since I played Smash multiplayer and if forgotten how good it can be. Joker perhaps is excluded if not everyone has the DLC? I remember Pirahnna Plant being used but surely everyone has them?

Think Andy's right. I redeemed piranah plant last night so looking forward to giving it a whirl as it looks fun to play.

Piranha Plant is alright - he's a bit awkward to use, I feel.

I didn't think it mattered if everyone had the DLC or not as I'd imagine the 3.0 update would have all the data for Joker and his stage contained within it and buying the DLC essentially unlocks it. Andy's probably right in that it was bad luck.

I'm pretty sure you kicked everyone's arse when you were PP, more so than all the other arse kicking you handed out.

Maybe he works best in free for alls, then. He's not great in 1v1s in my experience, but I can see his massive range and projectiles being useful in 4 player battles.

I had a big look through the ol' stage builder today. I've made one half-decent level, based on level 01/09 of Chuckie Egg, but not another idea yet. I've also found many other fine levels based on other things online (there are quite a few good Anor Londos, including a "Duff beer for me" animatronic smith), but my imagination hasn't gone beyond "other games that aren't in Smash". Except Steamed Hams. I'll try and find a picture of Steamed Hams.

I haven't looked at Smash for a good while: that'd be a good reason to make me turn on the game if I thought I'd get around to gaming this weekend. Keep the thread active lads, and I'll give them a look... at some point.

I've meant to have a browse through the custom stages that folks have uploaded, download the best of them and host a GNamer Smash Session using said custom stages. I'll be sure to pick one of yours, Jimmers!

Make sure there's one of a giant comedy wang too.

I'll have to go into the dark corners of the Smash Custom Stage browser to find a comedy wang - Nintendo are very strict on any sexual content, comedy or otherwise.

I can see Cappa's going from due to anime swordsman to with those two new characters

I'm maybe another half-decent character away from buying the season pass.

Re. Hero, I'm a bit confused as to what they're doing with him/them. They looked like a Robin echo to start off with; then you got eight different heroes and a menu-based system that looked ace, as well as confusing as all hell. The stage looks the business too.
