Yeah me and Balla are going to go for a cream tea whilst watching the cricket, then play some Twilight Princess (have to be TP, as Balla be like OoT is too old) or another top Zelda.

But then you'll fall out over which way round to apply cream and jam, it'll be a feud like GNamer has never seen.

Even though from Exeter, you'd think I'd do the Devon way but no it's jam first then cream like in Cornwall.

I can confirm that we would, indeed, fall out over that. Anyway I like the end points of both throughlines!

The Cornish way makes the most sense; jam is a standard toast spread which naturally would immediately follow the butter. Cream, on the other hand, is a bonus, a topping, an extravagance! It goes on top like a bow.

I generally don't have butter! So the cream takes the place of the dairy, underneath the jam.

Yeah, why I have jam first as easier to spread then a dollop of cream on top.

This was an entertaining thread to read through! There were some wild takes in there and some that I expected too - looking at you Mas with BotW - but I'd be very keen for more tier lists.

Right, let's get this show back on the road with the most important tier list of all - the Mario render tier list.

What's your favourite design of everyone's favourite plumber?

There are a lot of Mario renders that are just... Mario, to be honest.  That I feel utterly average about.  C's a bit bloated as a result.  Dear God though Jay, what is that Mario on the left of the green tier!?

I may do a serious one later. I may have some controversial picks, as my metric is that I like Mario with a bit more personality and uniqueness, and dislike the more clean, corporate version.

I'm with you. That's why Mario On An Angry Horse is S-tier.

The only unequivocally correct placing is tribal tattoo Mario in the lowest tier. What a travesty.

Tribal tattoo Mario is canon so remember all Mario's have the tribal tattoo.

Look: it was an awkward time in his life, he'd just got done with dealing with an island covered in fluorescent sick, and he'd found out that Peach had shared more baths with Bowser than she ever had with him. He got it lasered off later, what's the big deal?

One of the double cherry Marios survived 3D World and got the tattoo to try to differentiate himself from the original, like the beard/ no beard with Will Riker and Thomas Riker.
